Special Education ResourcesKnowledge is power when it comes to special education. Arming yourself as the parent, or as a teacher, or even as the student, you need every advantage to make the most and learn the most the education system has to offer. Here are some resources I have used. I will add to this page as new information and resources come available.
EdHelperThis site has great worksheets and other materials. My best use was finding additional materials to suppliment learning for students struggling with certain concepts. Usually, with the students I had I would be 2 or 3 grade levels below, but the worksheets worked well.
LD ResourcesDiscussion topics, tools, software, commentary, and more.
IEP DetailsIEP's are sometimes very difficult to understand or to write. This site has great information, including the laws behind them.
Council for Exceptional ChildrenThe Eric Database and multiple other information links.
Tips For ParentsHere's a great family education site with tips and more resources for children with learning disabilities. |
