“While having a disability limits me, it has never stopped me from doing the things I want to do; only modify how I do them. Each day I wake up, I wake up with a positive attitude, because I can do more with a positive attitude than with a negative one.”
Disability Advocate/Consultant
Not only does having a disability give me first hand knowledge of the subject, but I strive to do more with that. Over the years, I have worked with many organizations: United Cerebral Palsy in Oshkosh, WI; Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Oshkosh; The Young Artist Workshop, Celebrating Abilities, and the Fox Cities PAC. Sharing my experiences is also consulting with businesses, community groups, schools, and more about the many ways to make facilities, events, and life accessible to all. Public Awareness
What better way to share my knowledge than by talking to people. Beyond speaking, I am an award winning columnist using education, humor and positive energy to enlighten others.
And Other Things
You might catch me at a Packer game, a night out at the Performing Arts Center in Appleton, enjoying a good movie, reading a good book, swimming, camping, going to concerts, volunteering at Lifest.
I also love helping others when I can, so I put my creative talents in video shooting and editing, graphic design, writing, and web creation to good use. You can see my portfolio here.
