Love this article by the Wall Street Journal about the top restaurants in New York. They are about to go through the ADA test. How much do they value the customer. If I was a restaurant owner, or any business for that matter, I would welcome feedback that would garner opportunities to draw as many people as possible to my establishment. Yet many business don’t think about 20% of the population as possible customers.
I’d like to start something new. Let’s go to restaurants all over and look at them for accessibility as well as good food. Use this new hashtag #disfood and let others know about places you have gone. If we get enough responses, I’ll make a separate page on the website with results from the hashtag.
