Age is just a number, a label to identify if you can get into a PG rated movie or get the senior citizen’s discount. But it’s not a reason to get depressed. It’s a reason to know more, be wiser, and hopefully not to repeat the past.

We live for labels for one thing or another, but age is by far the least favorite. Well, unless you count the gifts. Then it’s one of the favorites.

Let it give you reason for pause. To quickly reflect on where you’ve been and then plan where you are going. Always be creating your own path. No limitation can stop you unless you let it. Drive and determination take a positive attitude and willingness to fail. For without failure, we can not learn the correct way to do something. And, not to offend, but there is always more than one way to skin an orange.

We have free will, let no one tell you anything different. Live for each day. Share with others the knowledge you have and pick up those that have fallen. For we are all broken, but live. Pushed, but bounce back. Need more reasons to move forward? Each year is a new reason.

Quick Take

“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” – Raymond Chandler
