This next food is good for you in many ways. Have you ever had your doctor say you’re not getting enough protein in your diet? The other reason to put this next food in your diet, especially in the winter time, is it promotes alertness.
No trade secrets in this recipe. My version is tasty and good for you. Start with whole-grain bread. Spread on the best peanut butter you can find. Then pile on some Kiwi. Close the sandwich, cut in half and enjoy!
Peanuts are a very high in protein food that many people have been raised on as kids, but then as an adult skip because they think a peanut butter and (insert companion food) was only something they eat when they were younger and don’t want to be seen around the office eating one. Peanuts promote alertness which you need especially if feeling down, depressed, or stressed.
You’re probably thinking, Kiwi? Why would I choose Kiwi? Kiwi is a great fruit with similar qualities and taste to a banana. It also is high in vitamin C which is good for fighting fatigue. Together along with whole-grains you’re getting a tasty treat you remembered as a kid, that is just as good for you today.
